The school sports meeting came to a successful conclusion, our teachers and students won five group awards

At the opening ceremony, we used the creativity of Wandering the Earth to show our talents; during the games, we swayed our youth with hard work sweat. "Energy lights up the world, power drives the earth", this is not only the theme of our opening ceremony, but also every moving and unchanging declaration. With the courage to fight, the teachers and students have been able to achieve impressive results on the sports field.

The competition was brilliant, and the athletes of the School of Energy and Power Engineering were even more brilliant and had outstanding results. The graduate group won the championship and ranked first. Undergraduates were not far behind and won the third place in the high-level group, the fourth in the undergraduate women’s group, and the seventh in the undergraduate men’s group. The faculty and staff were also actively involved and motivated, and achieved the fifth best result.

Among the faculty, whether it is field competitions or competitions, the teachers have achieved excellent results. Among them, teachers Yang Yu and Qing Shaowei won gold medals in the men's 100 meters and men's shot put events. Teachers Pan Liangming and Pu Ge also got second and third places in men's softball and men's shot put respectively. The teachers and students are passionate, cheering for the teachers of the game. Among the undergraduates, Li Panxiao won the men's shot put gold medal, Lai Adi was the first woman to win the long jump. The postgraduate group performed well. Yang Yang and Huo qiang won the men's 100 meters and men's shot put, respectively. In addition, other active athletes have made unremitting efforts and achieved excellent results.

Although the sports meeting has come to an end, the spirit of continuous struggle will still be passed on in the hearts of active teachers and students. We will use youth to promote development and brighten up the future with passion. I hope that every night when I hear the wind and rain, I will come to my dream with the sound of books.
