Lecture Title: New Calcium-Titanium Ore Materials and Their Preparation for Optoelectronic Devices
Presenter:,Prof . Mingzhen Liu, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China
Lecture time: 15:00 on Thursday, September 17.
Lecture Venue: 301, School of Energy and Power Engineering
Lecture Content:
The research focuses on new optoelectronic materials and devices, especially in the field of photovoltaics, with a focus on solar cells based on organic-inorganic hybridization of new calcium titanate materials. These devices combine the functions of traditional solar cells with the excellent properties of the new materials, and have become a hotspot of international attention in recent years. This report will firstly focus on the current status quo and the major bottlenecks facing the development of calcareous titanium ore solar cells, explore the new calcareous titanium ore optoelectronic materials and their device preparation methods, reveal the deeper connotations of material physics, and highlight the current scientific research results, including new mechanisms leading the development direction of high-efficiency devices, new structures to break through device stability bottlenecks, new processes to promote the industrialization process, and so on. The preparation of calcium titanate materials and their practical application in optoelectronic devices provide new scientific connotations.

Professor Liu Mingzhen mainly focuses on the research of vapor growth, dimensional control, photovoltaic performance and stability of new perovskite materials. He has published more than 30 SCI papers in well-known journals at home and abroad such as Nature, Energy & Environmental Science, ACS Energy Letters, Advanced Science, Solar RRL, etc., with more than 7,900 Google academic citations. He is now in charge of many national, provincial and ministerial projects such as the National Key Research and Development Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Department. He has won many honorary titles such as the 22nd "Chinese Youth May 4th Medal" and the National "March 8th Red Flag Bearer" in 2019.
Key development research directions:
(1) Attach importance to basic frontier scientific research and actively explore the mystery of current perovskite solar cells;
(2) Break through the bottleneck of existing domestic traditional solar cells, and realize new technology superimposed with new generation thin film cells;
(3) Based on perovskite materials, realize the application of new materials in new optoelectronic devices.
