2017年10月9日至10月15日，CBM第30次协作会议在中国武汉华中师范大学召开，来自9个国家的115名学者参加了此次会议，讨论CBM目前的形势和未来迎接的挑战。期间，重庆大学动力工程学院代表重庆大学，全票通过被CBM接纳为全资格会员。

 注： CBM项目：高压缩重子（CBM, Compressed Baryonic Matter ）实验项目是德国达姆施塔特未来加速器 (FAIR, future Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research)上的一项重大科学支柱。该项目的目标是利用高能核-核碰撞，探索高重子密度区域的量子色动力学（QCD，quantum chromodynamics）相图。The Compressed Baryonic Matter (CBM) experiment will be one of the major scientific pillars of the future Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research (FAIR) in Darmstadt. The goal of the CBM research program is to explore the QCD phase diagram in the region of high baryon densities using high-energy nucleus-nucleus collisions.
