The School of Power Engineering organizes students to visit the exhibition of air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment

On May 10, 2018, the School of Power Engineering organized students to visit the "2018 Western China Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and Thermal Power Summit Forum". The theme of this event was "Energy-saving, Environmental Protection, Smart Innovation". The forum was hosted by 13 units including the Preparatory Committee of the Western China Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Alliance, the Organizing Committee of the Western Refrigeration Exhibition, and the Chongqing Society of Refrigeration, including the School of Urban Construction and Environmental Engineering of Chongqing University, the School of Power Engineering, Chongqing University of Science and Technology, etc. 17 cooperative units. With the theme of "Energy-saving, Environmental Protection, Smart Innovation", the hot issues were discuss in the industry. For our students, this visit is a supplement to blindly broaden our professional knowledge. At one o'clock in the afternoon, the students waited at the meeting place early, with a little expectation in their relaxed smiles. Later, the students departed by school bus and came to the N1 Pavilion of the National Expo Center

After arriving at the destination, the staff of the National Expo Center welcomed us warmly and took us to a discussion and sharing session on air conditioning energy saving and environmental protection. In the sharing session, Mr. Long of Kapman of Germany shared with us their technology on the treatment of wind infiltration in tall spaces. Their air curtains and wind pipes opened our eyes and were amazed. Professor Zhao Gen of the Research Center for Building Energy Efficiency of Tsinghua University has amazing energy-saving effects of the cold storage technology. Professor Zhao Gen also taught us: "Life has boundaries but knows without boundaries", warning us to keep learning and making progress.

After the lecture, the person in charge of the Chongqing Refrigeration Society took us to learn more about the various technologies in the exhibition area, why there are tooth-like stripes on the inside of the refrigeration tube that touches the freezing technology, the cooling mechanism of the air conditioner and various freons, and teach us how to clean the air conditioner filter. It is worth mentioning that during the visit, the students met a graduate dynamics chief who is also a dynamic person. The meeting is naturally very kind. He enthusiastically introduced us to their company's technology, and asked us to study hard and looking forward to our work and study there.

After more than three hours, the visit was over, and the students were still not satisfied. Finally, everyone took a group photo together at the scene. For this visit, the students said that they have gained a lot, and it is a worthwhile trip. They have also deepened their professional understanding and have a clearer understanding of the future development direction. Everyone said that they hope to participate more in such activities in the future.
